Craft of the Month: Spring Egg Topiary

Craft an adorable mini topiary just in time for Spring and Easter! You'll make a cone shaped topiary decorated with speckled faux bird eggs and green "nesting" paper shreds. A sweet accent for any table or mantle.

You may pick up your free grab and go kit inside the library at the first floor info desk and create it at home or bring it to the Creative Loft to craft any Tues night 6-7:30 pm, when craft librarian Natalie will be on hand to assist.  Instructions and supplies are included.  

Creative Craft Night

Stop by our Creative Loft on Tuesday evenings for some DIY fun with your fellow adult crafters! Librarian Natalie Fleischer will be on hand to help you with the project of your choice. You could make something with the library's on-hand craft supplies, learn to use our cricut machine, button-maker or metal hand-stamping, complete one of our DIY projects, and much more! There is no registration required. We look forward to seeing you here!

Scranton Writers' Club

The Scranton Writer's Club is back! Are you interested in writing but don’t know where to begin? Join our writers’ club to get yourself started! This club will be led by Jaret Ostop, in honor of Christopher Jennings Penders . Each session, you'll respond to a creative prompt, share what you wrote and give each other feedback. You may also present your independent writing projects to the group for suggestions and critiques. This will be a place for fun, creativity, camaraderie, and mentorship!
