Old Prints & Slides Conversion Workshop
This two-hour workshop will discuss how to plan and pursue projects for the conversion of old prints and slides to digital photos. Options for do-it-yourself work and the use of service providers will be covered. Also included will be a hands-on demonstration of the 11-photos-per-minute print scanner which is available for loan from the Library and the use of the slide and film scanners which are also available from the Library. In addition, we will touch on options for importing photos into the Apple photo library, converting scanned photos into MP4 slideshows and creating high quality photo books.

Observing the Moon
Join us as we welcome back Jeff from the Shoreline Astronomical Society. We will learn about moon basics (size/distance/movement through the sky), moon phases, observing features on the moon (Maria, Craters, Walls, Rimae, Domes, etc). After the presentation, if the weather is agreeable, we will go outside to observe with a telescope.
