Based on an incredible true story, “Song Sung Blue” follows Mike and Claire, two struggling musicians who discover that it’s never too late to find love and pursue their dreams. They form a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning and Thunder, rising from humble garage rehearsals to gigs at local dive bars, eventually gaining unexpected stardom in their hometown. When tragedy strikes, their love for each other and passion for music provide them with the strength to overcome hardships, rediscover hope, and inspire those around them.
