Library Technical Assistant 2- Circulation Department (Part-Time)
The E.C. Scranton Memorial Library in Madison, CT seeks a customer service oriented, collaborative and flexible individual to join our team. The successful candidate for this position will have strong computer and technology skills; excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to provide excellent customer service to patrons of all ages. They will be able to provide one-to-one technology assistance to library patrons by appointment. The position is 22-26 hours per week including Monday or Wednesday evenings and every other Saturday. The starting salary is $18.90/hr. Volunteering — There are many opportunities to support the library with your time and skills. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks:
- Shelving
- Collection Maintenance
- Home Delivery Service — Deliver library materials to Madison residents who are unable to come to the library.
