Summer@Scranton 2026
Our Summer Reading Program will begin on Tuesday, June 23rd! Sign up the day of between 10am-12pm in-person, for a special kick off event. Or you can register online at Beanstack starting at 9:30 a.m. on that day!
Participants must live in Madison and have a Madison Public Library Card (or a parent or guardian with a card).
Here’s what you need to do:
READ!
- Join us as we work together as a community to reach our Summer Reading Community Goal of 30,000 books read this summer! There may be a special surprise if we reach our goal!
COLLECT YOUR PRIZES!
- Have fun while reading by participating in the weekly challenges. There’s a new prize each week!
- Earn badges as you log your reading!
Our Summer Reading program ends on August 24th. The last day to collect your prizes will be August 31st. Grand Prizes will be drawn on Tuesday, August 25th, and you will be notified if you’ve won by the end of the day on Tuesday, August 25th.
Library BINGO is back!
BINGO will be available starting June 23rd on Beanstack. The card contains missions you must complete! This is just for fun, but your first BINGO card will get you a very special prize! More information is on Beanstack.

*Signing up for a summer program will automatically register your child for summer reading if they are a Madison resident. You will receive a confirmation email with your login information and temporary password within 48 hours of signing up.
