This summer, teens have the chance to participate in two, count ‘em two, challenges that both run from Tuesday, June 23 until Saturday, August 22!

Keeping in line with past years, the first challenge will have BINGO cards for teens to work on!  Madison residents entering grades 7 to 12 can stop by the desk at in Teen Room upstairs to get a Bingo card with activities to do inside and outside the library. The first time they complete any five in a row and turn in their card, they will receive:

-A ticket they can scratch and win either a $10 RJ Julia’s or $10 Ashley’s Gift Card
-A ticket to enter to win one of two grand prize gift card bundles valued at $50. There’s: $25 to Madison Cinemas & $25 to Cumberland Farms; or $25 to Bradley + Wall & $25 Mastercard Gift Card.

For every 5 tasks in a row teens complete, they will receive additional tickets for grand prizes ONLY.

The second new challenge involves the Beanstack platform.  From now until Saturday, August 22, Madison residents entering grades 7 to 12 can create a free account if they don’t have one on https://scrantonlibrary.beanstack.com/ to log every book they complete this summer.  At the end of the summer, a participant will randomly be selected for a $75 Amazon gift card!  The more books you complete reading, the better your odds are!

Teen can complete one or both of these challenges!

*”Teens” refers to anyone entering 7th grade or just graduating high school (or the equivalent) who is eligible for a library card from the Scranton Memorial Library.
